The Pennsylvania section of the AT is notorious for it’s rocks, and we learned why. Fields of boulders sometimes, rocks scattered around the trail sometimes, climbing hand over foot sometimes. This section was called Knifes Edge, and required following a narrow ridge line along the edges of so many rocks. I cannot tell you how happy I am we made it through this section without any serious falls or twisted ankles. (June 18, 2015)
