Very Long Baseline Array

Pie Town is a small trail town with an unusual landmark - it features one of the ten large radio telescope that make up the Very Long Baseline Array. This network of coordinated telescopes not only allows astronomers to make very precise readings from space, but also allows geophysicists to study continental drift.
