Sky Lakes Bailout

Thanks to the fresh snow and wildly conflicting signs and reports about trail closures between us and Crater Lake, we decided to improvise a bailout from Sky Lakes. Piecing together the route with the maps we had was a little stressful but good practice. Fortunately it went exactly as planned, and we made it from the middle of a national forest out to the highway. (October 9, 2017)
