Gila River Water

Ironically, I think we flirted more with dehydration in the Gila than in the desert. Always available water (and almost a week of food on our back) meant we didn’t want to carry more than a liter or two at a time, and since miles were slow with all the crossing and bushwhacking or trying to find trail, we didn’t stop to filer very often.
