Poodle Dog Bush

Poodle dog hush grows in recent burn areas, and is a big concern for hikers. It causes painful rashes when touched (or if you breathe it’s spores). Since California has a lot of burn areas, we have to stay mindful and make sure not to touch it. In this particular case, we had to shimmy sideways to get between some on both sides of the trail.
