Yellowstone Hot Springs

Our friend Cheesebeard tipped us off to a thermal area of Yellowstone with an excellent semi-developed hot spring. We set up our permits to make sure we’d be able to spend some time there, and it ended up being an absolute highlight.

We soaked in a built up shelf where several hot springs fed into a built up pool from a creek. The water temperature shifted all around you, but it was easy enough to find lovely hot spots. In a busy park, it was a rare solitary experience.
