Mount Shasta

From the Washington / Oregon border, we made the difficult decision to flip again, n’s head back to Chester CA and head north again. The hope is the fires in Oregon may be out by the time we get there and we’d avoid weeks of hiking in smoke. Honestly, morale was pretty low here and I dropped off taking photos for a bit.

After getting back on trail and making our way through Mount Lassen National Park, we’d circle around Mount Shasta for a while. (September 21, 2017)
