Yellowstone Planning

While in Jackson, we hunkered down in the public library to figure out our route through Yellowstone, which we’d hit immediately after Grand Teton National Park. We were able to camp in the wilderness area adjacent Teton NP so we didn’t need permits there, but Yellowstone required us to file an itinerary to get a back country permit. Normally we just hike until it gets dark, so this kind of planning was a bit of a change.
