Pine Beetle Smoke

More pine beetle kill in the San Juan National Forest, with a backdrop of thick smoke from the 416. If the fire were to spread to this area, it would burn incredibly quickly, and probably for the best. Beetle kill trees need to be cleared one way or the other, and in a wilderness area, fire may be the only real way to do it.
